BIO
Born in 1990, Isabella Cacciabaudo specializes in Art Printing at high school, and then shifts her focus on Japanese language and culture studies, topics she’ll insert in her stories.
She uses her art to heal the wounds that life inflicts us.
Her key topics are disabilities, mental illnesses and LGBT themes.
She won the fifth edition of the Sensuability competition, held by the roman association ‘Nessunotocchimario’ with the comic story ‘The Dark Side of the Spectrum’ centered on sexuality and autism.
Two short comic stories drawn by her have been published: ‘Il Mantello della Notte’ written by Jacopo Angelini and featured in the collection ‘In Maschera’, and ‘La Lunga Notte Innevata’, written by Simone Ruggeri and featured in the collection ‘Accattoni, Vitelloni e Zombi’, both were edited by Ultra Edizioni.
Previously, she has drawn various illustrations published by the cultural association ‘EVA Impact’, and in 2020 she has won a competition by the platform Booktribù, designing the cover of a novel titled ‘Nell’Ombra del Lupo’.
